How to Resize and Optimize Images

Whether we’re sending images through E-mail or posting to a website, it needs to resize. Because some websites don’t allow large size images. Even if your internet connection is slow, you face problems in attachment to the E-mails. To send or post images, you have to resize images. You can resize images with the help of software or with the help of online websites. There are many websites available on the  Internet to resize images. Image editor Software’s are very helpful to resize images. Even if you’re not interested in resizing the whole image, you can crop it.

• Image Optimizer

This one is my favorite. It reduces the size of image without reducing image quality. You can select your desired size in pixels also. It’s a great software and you should give a chance to this one. You can download the software from the 4th website in  the list above.

• Picasa

Picasa is a software which is helpful in resizing images.
To resize image through picasa follow these steps.
- open Google Picasa in browser , download in respect of your OS
- select the desired image in image location
- click on export button
- After that you can resize image through moving the slider from left to right

• Resize Image through GIMP ( GNU Image Manipulation Program )

- download and install the GIMP in your device (PC or Laptop )
- select image option
- image will appear above the toolbar
- select image through scale
- save image in the end.
